Kevin Baldwin
I've dedicated my career to helping people - first, victims of crime and now, victims of discrimination and retaliation.
I am a former Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Clay County, Missouri, where I tried numerous high-profile felony cases. My practice places a special emphasis on employment discrimination matters in both state and federal courts. As an experienced litigator, I also provide litigation support to other attorneys and firms who need assistance, and I have successfully helped resolve those cases.
I bring extensive experience in jury trials, litigation, mediation, and depositions from my work as both a prosecutor and a plaintiff-side employment law attorney. My background includes handling a wide range of criminal and civil matters.
I have represented employee plaintiffs against some of the world’s largest multinational corporations and have successfully resolved the vast majority of those cases in my clients’ favor. I advocate for my clients in jury trials, arbitration, and mediation.
In addition to my litigation practice, I have served as a municipal judge in Gower, Missouri, as well as a municipal prosecutor and city attorney for Orrick and Wood Heights, Missouri.
I grew up in the small town of Madrid, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where I was an honors scholar, served as a managing associate of the Law Review, and clerked for Judge Wilder of the 22nd Circuit in Ann Arbor.
